The COPL is pleased to announce that Mr. Denis Seletskiy from École Polytechnique de Montréal will be joining its ranks, the 8th member from that institution.

 

Mr. Seletskiy is a specialist in ultrabroad band terahertz science and technology. He holds a PhD degree in Optical Science and Engineering from the University of New Mexico awarded in 2010. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Air Force Research Laboratories in New Mexico. Then, between 2012 and 2017, he worked as at the University of Konstanz in Germany, first as a research scientist and later becoming team leader. In May 2017, he joined the faculty at Polytechnique Montreal more specifically in the Department of Engineering Physics. He holds the Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in quantum and ultrafast photonics.
