NSERC has awarded the Brockhouse Prize of Canada for excellence in interdisciplinary research to a team of 5 COPL researchers and their colleague in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Université Laval.

Researchers Daniel Côté, Yves De Koninck, Younès Messaddeq, Michel Piché and Réal Vallée of the COPL as well as Benoît Gosselin of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Université Laval will be honoured at Rideau Hall in Ottawa by the Governor General, the Minister of Science and the President of NSERC.   

They are receiving this award for their work in the development of tools to probe the brain and improve the understanding of its mechanisms.

We congratulate them for this honour reflecting the excellence of research and training activities at the COPL and raising the profile of our research organization across Canada.
