Studying at McGill

McGill University is one of the largest research universities in Canada. It is also considered among the 25 best universities in the world.

McGill COPL members are part of the Photonic Systems Group. The group consists of 40 members exploring lightwave communications technologies, identifying novel applications and practical limitations. Their research interests covers several aspects of photonics, including optoelectronic devices and materials, fiber-optic components, free-space communications and systems integration. They have access to the latest facilities and equipment available. Researchers are also active within strategic national and international research networks.
