1.  Scholarships for co-supervised students (budget: $10,000/yr)

The COPL will award two scholarships of $5,000 each per year (April 1st to March 31st) to help support students who are co-supervised by two COPL members in different institutions. To apply, please submit a one-page project description, the student's 2-page CV and a letter of support from one of the supervisors, by September 30th. The graduate study program must begin no later than January 30th of the following year. Renewal of the scholarship may be requested. However, new applications will be given priority. Applications will be evaluated by the COPL Management Committee. 


2.   Support for distance training activities (budget: $15,000/year)

The COPL wishes to encourage the development of online training tools that students can easily access. To this end, COPL members (students, postdocs, research scientists and professors) are invited to apply for funding for such training projects. Up to $5,000 in support per project will be awarded.
